1-the betrayal
she saw her, standing there
she thought back at the times they’ve shared
the secrets whispered in each others ears
the giggles and smiles they both exchanged
for once they were best friends
and now they are strangers
2-strangers
new day, new views
with the hundreds of people who pass
I witness different faces, different characters
beautiful, innocent children running around
old, grumpy men wanting to read their newspaper
it amazes me how everyone is so different and unique
3-gloomy days
losing someone you cared deeply about could be the worst feeling
you no longer have your best friend
the one who holds all your secrets
the one who supported you in everything you did
the one you shared memories with
maybe one day you’d reconnect, but today was not that day
